DEFA LifeboatCharger is a 2x12V, 2x5A maintenance charger designed for life boats/rescue boats with 42VAC gripping tension and suits battery sizes from 15Ah to 150Ah. The charger can be used on both 12V and 24V systems and also on all types of lead/acid batteries (AGM, Gel and free ventilated).

The charger is electric isolated (double isolated) with a local output for alarm/starter interrupt function. The charger is cast-in and therefore waterproof and endures great strains. The charger has extra connection possibilities so that 42VAC can be transferred to other consumers in the boat without having to install additional connection boxes.

This is a pure maintenance charger and we do not recommend parallel flow rate above 1A on each channel.
