Sikaflex 298FC - Spatulable flexible glue for marine application.

Sikaflex-298 FC is a polyurethane glue slightly thixotropic, which, under the action of atmospheric moisture, turns into a durable elastomer. Sikaflex-298 CF is made according to the rules of quality ISO 9001 and 14001 and re - meets the standards imposed by the International Maritime (IMO).

Areas of application:

Sikaflex-298 CF is particularly suitable for gluing full surface coatings of bridges in synthetic resins (except polyethylene and the poly-propylene) as well as for bonding and sealing of planks teak on decks. It should not be used to make bridge caulk joints. Sikaflex-298 CF is recommended in many media, such as: GRP, marine plywood (WBP), steel and aluminum covered with an anticorrosive Primer (epoxy-based or polyurethane and Polyurethane-acrylic) and stainless steel.

Sikaflex®-298 is a one-component polyurethane adhesive based on the latest polyurethane i-Cure technology. It is specifically designed for full-surface bonding for synthetic resin linings, and is also suitable for sealing teak planks on bridges. This product is not intended for caulking teak decks.
